Bio
Melodie Maria Essig is a professional Jyotisha, yogini, and new mama to Leo Anand. She completed her BA in Yogic Studies and Traditional Eastern Arts with a concentration in Yoga, and a 1,200 hour Yoga Teacher Training at Naropa University in 2009. Melodie has trained extensively under the lineages of Sri Aurobindo, Krishnamacharya (Iyengar, Ashtanga and Viniyoga), Purna Yoga, Swami Sivananda, Swami Satyananda, Swami Gitananda, Sivananda, the Bihar School of Yoga Tradition, Nataraja Kallio, Sreedevi Bringi, Erich Schiffman, Rainbeau Mars and the Tantric Sri Vidya traditions of South India. Melodie has been teaching Yoga professionally since 2009.In addition, She completed an apprenticeship in Evolutionary Astrology in 2011 and has been doing consults professionally ever since. She is grateful to have studied Jyotish with Ksanati extensively and is a professional Jyotishya at Dhanya Gāyatrī Jyotishya.
